Introduction

Liberal Arts and Humanities program adopts an innovative pedagogy and focuses on a strong interdisciplinary foundation in arts, social sciences and humanities subjects, with specializations in specific areas. The study of liberal arts inspires the development of the whole person through rigorous reading and writing, along with active experiential learning inside and outside the classroom, Liberal Arts students graduate with the knowledge, flexible range of skills, aptitudes, and a life-long curiosity and love of learning. They will be prepared for a world of possibilities to explore future opportunities in the field of arts and humanities. Over the first two years of the Bachelor of Arts degree, students train in the foundational aspects of the liberal arts through core courses in humanities and social sciences.
